Great Northern Instore is excited to announce that the winner of the December Instore Excellence Award is our Chippewa Falls/Swedesboro team for the 3M Filtrete display.
The Instore Excellence Award is an internal competition between Great Northern Instore creative teams. Creative team designers and engineers are experts in concept development, ensuring creative and practical solutions that fit seamlessly into the retail environment.
The Chippewa Falls/Swedesboro team was challenged to create new awareness of Filtrete products with shoppers at Meijer stores; to better organize the products; to simplify the shopping experience; and to help build repeat sales.
The team’s solution was a permanent display featuring bright colors, shelf liners and product dividers for quick visibility, as well as consumer friendly language to increase product awareness. This display system is delivery weekly POS gains of 200-300%. As a result of this work, 3M was nominated for a Meijer Vendor of the Year award!
