Objective

  • Nestle Purina challenged us to prove to the consumer that cat litter doesn’t have to weigh a ton to get the job done
  • The mission was to demonstrate the dramatic difference in weight between the old and the new Tidy Cat products
  • Design an interactive module with retractable tethers to maintain the integrity of the store displays and reduce housekeeping

What we did

  • Developed a lift-test demonstration module that used actual product packaging (new vs. old) and invited consumers to feel the difference
  • Universal design was used in 5 retail configurations including full and half pallets; we designed custom units for Target and Pet Smart
  • Corrugated parts were direct-printed and litho-mounted, plus lock stream tube supports were used to reinforce the shelving

Results

  • The launch was one of the largest ever undertaken by Nestle Purina and enjoyed nationwide success at major retailers

Logitech: UE Boom WIreless Bluetooth Speaker

Objective

  • Logitech needed an interactive display for Costco to support consumer engagement and purchase of their UE BOOM Portable Bluetooth® Speaker
  • Educate consumer on use and function of the powerful UE BOOM Speaker
  • Attract the Millennial crowd with a display that is both hip and friendly

What we did

  • Developed theft deterrent captured blister product packaging, meeting a Costco initiative
  • Created pallet displays for the UE Boom Speaker and showcased the brand messaging; “Music, Wherever, Whenever, Whatever”
  • Developed a demo unit in for the center of the display, allowing shoppers to engage with the product
  • Delivered fully assembled and packed pallets, for simple execution

Objective

  • Create a dynamic 3D merchandiser that conveys the Hot Wheels spirit of excitement for car racing
  • Demonstrate an “Epic” track layout on the retail displays
  • Foster an added level of engagement by challenging Kroger employees to enter an “Epic” competition for the “best display”

What we did

  • Designed a pre-assembled litho and direct printed bin structure and easy to assemble litho mounted header components
  • Highly creative dump bin boldly utilizes the iconic orange Hot Wheels track.
  • A starter set of actual track components was included along with an activation kit, to be used for “Epic” contest
  • Store members built creative track layouts on the pallet displays and entered photos or videos in a social media contest; engaging shoppers in and out of the store.

Results

  • Huge success among Kroger shoppers and employees
  • Videos of employee contest posted on YouTube helped in-store campaign gain traction

  • A secure acrylic case, inspired by jewelry store displays, featured the watch and accessories included in the bundle
  • Unique product cards and trays, featuring styrene accents rounded out the premium shopper experience
  • Engineered for easy execution, store personnel only had to remove the packaging shroud, drop the pallet on the floor and slide the pallet skirt into position
